Current Board Chairman brings deep knowledge of the business and leadership expertise to accelerate company’s operational and growth strategies

Houston, TX-September 25, 2013- Shale-Inland Holdings today announced the appointment of Frank A. Riddick III as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Riddick’s leadership will allow Shale-Inland to enhance and deliver operational improvements and long-term growth strategies across the company to better meet end market demand. Current Chief Executive Officer, Richard Lundgren, is leaving the company effective today to pursue other opportunities. Mr. Riddick will remain a member of the Board of Directors, but will resign as Executive Chairman. Current Shale-Inland Board Member Bobby L. Martin will become non-executive Chairman of the Board.

Mr. Riddick has 30 years of business experience, including 20 years leading and managing companies in the steel and building materials industries. He was most recently the Chief Executive Officer of JMC Steel Group, Inc., a leading North American steel pipe and tube manufacturer, and was formerly the Chief Executive Officer of Formica Corporation. He has also held roles as President and Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial officer of Armstrong World Industries, Inc.
